Over the years, the LeMond Maillot Jaune has earned quite a following in the cycling world. Traditionally handcrafted of steel, it is considered a connoisseur's ride: elegant, comfortable, smooth. For 2005, these accolades still hold true. But with the addition of the Spine Design, the new Maillot Jaune barely registers at the scales. The spine, made of lightweight double-butted steel, is combined with an OCLV 120 carbon cockpit. Expect increased lateral stiffness and even more road shock damping with the legendary ride of a LeMond steel frame.
